Bacang Coin Sewing Purse

The Bacang Coin Sewing Purse

Do you know bacang? Bacang is a Chinese traditional rice dumpling which is wrapped with pieces of bamboo leaves until the shape is just like a pyramid. Few weeks ago, my friend told me about zip-itself coin purse from the craft passion and it's shape was similar to a bacang. It's unique, because you just need a zipper and a lace of long ribbon to make it. But instead of ribbon, I used a piece of fabric. I preferred to use fabric, because it's miscellaneous colors and motifs.

I also made another bacang purse for my sister as a gift of her birthday, with the folded fabric rose on the top of it.

Crochet Flower Book Cover

I think it's nice to have books covered by crochet. The crochet book cover makes an ordinary book different and unusual. Last year, I tried to make a crochet book cover for my old bible with a little flower bookmark. I used two color of cotton knitting yarns ( light brown and white ) to make this crochet flower book cover. Besides the bibles, it's suitable for other books too, such as novels, pocket dictionaries etc, with the fitted size of the books, of course.

Crochet Blue Baby's Hat & Booties

My friend, Meity gave birth to a child last June. It's a baby girl, her name is Jannie Cahya Aura S. She is a cute, little baby. I want to give her a crochet hat as a gift of her birth. I used unused knitting yarn that I bought from Tobucil and start crocheting it. Although it's not my own designed pattern, but the result of mine was different from the original. I hope little Jannie will like it :) 

The baby booties

I made a pair of baby booties for Jannie too. I think the size is suitable for a new born baby. I used three colors of cotton knitting yarn to make this booties ( blue, cream and brown ). Paper Quilling Sunny Flower

Do you still remember this flower? Yes, you must have seen it in the older post ( Jack n Adele Amigurumi Rabbit Couple ). I made it specially for my boyfriend to celebrate White Day. The flower has five petals of natural floral yellow color, with pink leaves. I think it's suitable applied to cards or presents.

The Crochet Rose Hairpin

The crochet roses is so beautiful. I think they are suitable for the hairpins, but I want to make the roses from a ball of pink cotton knitting yarn, because the cotton yarn is cheaper and lighter than the nylons. I used a long, stainless hairpin to be applied to these crochet roses. The result is gorgeous, the hairpin looks beautiful and elegant.

I also made another hairpin from this crochet rose. I used a small black hairpin to be applied with the rose. I think it's nice and cute for girls. Isn't it?

Strawberry Key Chain

 Few months ago, I want to give something unique as a gift for one of my best friends. She was my classmate at middle school. So, I remember the amigurumi strawberries that I have made for the Leo's rabbit family. But, I want to make something different by applying one of the strawberries to a useful thing as key chain. I used a ring to join the strawberry and the key chain. It's simple and easy, I'm sure that you can make the strawberry key chain too :)

 As a special gift, it needs to be packed beautifully. So, I used a lace of pink ribbon with a form of folded rose to bind the transparent box. The strawberry key chain looks nice in it. Isn't it?

Amigurumi Red Malang's Apple

Since I realize that crochet is not just to make clothes, but its method can be used to make a tiny and cute thing, I begin to make many shape of amigurumi. This is so much fun to make it in process, show it to my family, and give it to my friend as a gift. I often smile when I imagine the product is if it's done in process, so I always in hurry to finish and forgot to take the process picture, hehe.. :-D I love my friends's and my family's smile when  they see what I am doing. They always give me many inspiration. Thank you!!

Wire Crochet

Yesterday, I tried to crochet with flexible wire. I think wire is more luxurious than yarn, so can be used as jewelry. This is my first trial, and I think I failed. In the beginning, I wanted to get spherical object, but finally I got a circle shape. My sister said, that is like Rengginang!! Do you know rengginang? It is a crispy meal, its shape ... yeah.... just like that!! Haha.. :-D

I love Roses!! I think Rose is a exotic flower. It is built from so many petals, beautiful!! I used brown paper for letter to make the rose, calyx and leaf because I want to make it like dried roses. Oh...I have made it a lot...!!! I planned to arrange them as a bouquet. A bouquet of roses,... love it!!!
